So for the life of me I can’t find any gas higher than 91 octane. It’s frustrating... Even went to the drag strip. Only had 100+ methane/ethanol. Don’t wanna blow my injectors. Guess I’ll try the race track tomorrow...

Where are you located? Higher altitudes don’t have 93 because it isn’t needed (air is not as dense).

Where do you live? I’ve found octane ratings vary by location, and it seems by elevation. You might be fine with 91 in your part of the world, where some place else 93 might be what’s needed.

where are you located? We can get 93 at the pump if you look hard enough on the east coast. There used to be a place in denver that was right at the refinery and you could get just about anything at the pump there. Maybe there is something like that around you

The Sunoco near me has 91,93, and 95. Check them out if you have any near you.

Check local marinas. Sometimes they have different octane options and occasionally they’ll also have ethanol free.

93 at the pump isn’t hard to find, 95 can be found with some asking around. I have ran 100 in my bike once for a race and oh man did it smell lovely.

Both of the tracks I frequent have a Sunoco pump that includes the 100+ stuff, as well as 93 with no ethanol. The bike seems to like it, but it is almost $5 / gallon, compared to $3 for the crap at a regular pump.

Strange, I found a Sinclair gas station in my small town of 25k people in northern idaho that sells 93 octane, and there is another gas station *cough* Conoco *cough* that only sells 90 octane as premium, mid grade fuel is 88.5.

I am, for a variety of reasons, unfit for public office.

Funny thing is... as I just found out... Is there is a gap. Almost all places stop at 91. Then the octane rating jumps to 100+. No freaking in between at all.

Every station here has it
